Your focus is to provide technical support in a global environment for configuration, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting on all enterprise supported hardware and software. This position will be located at the branch in Walldorf Germany and will report into Promega’s Information Technology unit at Promega’s headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin USA.
As our "Deskside System Engineer" you will be responsible for advanced level support, troubleshooting, customer service and management of enterprise hardware and software platforms for Promega's European offices. You will use Promega's IT ticketing system to resolve technical incidents in a timely manner and you will manage our vendor relationship in Germany.
In collaboration with the Promega IT team, you will research, evaluate, test, and implement new hardware and software solutions, amongst other things.
If necessary, you will participate in on-call rotations and travel to the European branch offices.
